“The Journey of creating this nonprofit began with heartbreak. I traveled with my wife to meet her family in the Philippines. While out exploring the town my wife and I stopped at Mcdonald's. As we sat down children swarmed the window. There must have been at least 20 kids. Each brought their hands to their mouths gesturing that they were hungry. Some of these kids looked like just skin and bones. Their eyes followed each piece of food that left the table. My heart sank and knew that I had to help somehow.

After I returned from that trip was when the Journey of Creating the Mary Tylor Naturals Children’s Foundation Began.

In the beginning, it was just meant as a way to help less fortunate children get something to eat. It has now evolved into much more.

At nights my wife would tell me stories about how families would struggle to send their children to school with supplies or even a backpack. Some families even struggled to pay for their children’s education.

I realized then that I can do more than just help feed these kids.

Starting in 2022 the Mary Tylor Naturals Children’s Foundation will now be providing school supplies and assisting with tuition for less fortunate children and families.

Just as the old adage says “Give a man a fish, he will eat for the day. Teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime.” I wanted to help these kids set themselves up for a brighter future.“
