Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 1 Cup Calendula Flowers
- 15 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
- 15 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
- 1/4 Cup Yellow or White Beeswax Pellets
Method
- 1. Using the double boiler method on the stove top melt the Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Olive Oil together. 2. Add the dried Calendula Flower Petals and simmer on low for around two hours. stiring occasionally. 3. Strain the mixture into a bowl through a cheesecloth. 4. Add the Calendula oil back into the saucepan and add the Organic Beeswax Pellets until melted. 5. Remove from the heat and add the Organic Essential Oils and stir mixing all together. 6. Pour into a heat safe jar. Finished product is good for one year.
