Lotions or creams containing small amounts of camphor can be applied to your skin. Never use undiluted camphor or products containing more than 11 percent camphor. Always do a skin patch test before using camphor on your skin Directions for hair: (After patch test) Dilute the camphor oil. Mix a few drops of camphor oil with a carrier oil such as Mary Tylors coconut oil. Apply the oil to the scalp. Massage the oil into the scalp and hair and leave it on for at least 30 minutes. Directions for Skin: (After patch test) For this, mix 1 teaspoon camphor oil with 1 cup of Mary Tylors coconut oil in an air-tight jar. Wash your face with a cleanser, pat it dry and take a teaspoon of the oil blend. Massage the blend on face and leave it overnight. Next morning, just wash off the oil with lukewarm water. |
