Mary Tylor Naturals African Black Soap is a fair trade, organic natural soap that has a high content of organic shea butter. An all Women’s African Co-op in Ghana, Africa make this with their hands using a recipe that goes back many, many centuries, It is made with no chemical additives, no preservatives or artificial fragrances.
With natural antibacterial and exfoliating properties, African black soap acts gently to improve skin texture and tone. You can use African black soap on your face, hands, body — even your hair.

Can be used as body soap, shampoo and as a makeup remover. Directions for Face: Wet your face, then grab the soap and work it into a lather in your hands. Massage the soap into your skin in circular motions for 90 seconds. For extra exfoliation, use a washcloth or other exfoliating tool before rinsing (optional). Rinse with cool water. Apply moisturizer.
Directions for Hair: You can use black soap instead of shampoo, to wash and care for your hair. Dampen your locks and then blend the Beldi soap smoothly into some bicarbonate of soda to help purify and make your locks shine. It will foam slightly, but that's normal. You can also apply it neat to your roots as a scalp scrub. |

We suggest lathering the soap in your hands instead of applying the bar directly to your hair as small pieces could break off and be difficult to remove. This soap is very beneficial to people who suffer from dandruff as it has antifungal qualities that are known to help fight dandruff.
