Life Hack- How to Make Natural Deodorant

Antiperspirant types of deodorants, especially those containing chemicals such as aluminum are not recommended by holistic health practitioners because the body has processes it uses to detoxify itself. When you place toxic chemicals into your sweat glands, your body cannot fully rid itself of toxins.

 

You can make your own natural deodorant with the following recipes:

 

Ladies Lavender Deodorant Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 Drops  Lavender Essential Oil
  • 5 Drops Jasmine Essential Oil
  • 8 Tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 4 Tablespoons Baking Soda

Method

  1. Melt the Organic Coconut Oil in the microwave.
  2. Stir in the cornstarch and baking soda.
  3. Add the essential oils.
  4. Stir until all the ingredients are mixed well.
  5. Store in a clean recycled deodorant dispenser or airtight container.

Men’s Patchouli Pine Deodorant

Ingredients

  • 5 Drops Patchouli Essential Oil
  • 3 Drops Pine Tree Essential Oil
  • 8 Tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 4 Tablespoons Baking Soda

Method

  1. Melt the Organic Coconut Oil in the microwave.
  2. Stir in the cornstarch and baking soda.
  3. Add the essential oils.
  4. Stir until all the ingredients are mixed well.

Tropical Teenager Deodorant

 

Ingredients

  • 5 Drops Bergamot Essential Oil
  • 2 Drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
  • 1 Drops Lime Essential Oil
  • 8 Tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 4 Tablespoons Baking Soda

Method
