Why Should I Use Citronella
Citronella is a grass that has a rich, crisp lemony aroma. The essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh plant material. Citronella has many known benefits that include the removal of bad order, mosquito (biting insect) repellent, helps fight fatigue, promotes wound healing, and helps relieve muscle spasms,

Citronella Essential Oil has a crisp lemon-like aroma that drives away body odor with its antibacterial properties. It can be used in body sprays or deodorants in small quantities. It blends well with Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary, and Peppermint.

While Citronella is great for repelling biting insects, esp. mosquitos, it will not repel beneficial garden critters, like bumblebees, spiders, butterflies or hummingbirds. Combining Citronella Essential Oil with Vanilla Oleoresin has been found to provide mosquito protection for hours (reapplication may be necessary).

Along with Lavender, and Rosemary Essential Oils, Citronella uplifts one's mood. The stimulating effect it has on the brain helps to fight fatigue. For some, it uplifts by relaxing and for others it uplifts by stimulating.

Citronella's antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties help to speed up the healing process of wounds. This is particularly beneficial for individuals who tend to heal slowly.

Citronella Essential Oil is known to relieve spasms of the muscles, respiratory system, and nervous system. Menstrual cramps and coughs are also relieved by Citronella Essential Oil.
