Ways to Beat Boredom during the Quarantine

 

The corona virus pandemic has most of the world in quarantine right now. With all of us stuck at home, this a great time to learn new skills and do things we might not otherwise had have time for. Below is a list of great ideas of things to keep the quarantine boredom away.

 

1-      Make Something.

2-      Read. The quarantine lockdown has provided us with extra time to enjoy a good book! Pick up a fiction novel and escape to another world or a non-fiction book and learn something new. Reading is a great way to pass the time.

 

3-      Play a game. When is the last time you enjoyed a fun game of cards or played monopoly? This can be a great deal of fun and help you compete against your family and friends in a safe and fun way even in quarantine.

 

 

4-       Go outside. Feeling the grass beneath your feet, the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin are wonderful ways to enjoy the outdoors.  You can take a walk around your neighborhood or simply just sit outside to soak up the beauty of the nature around you.

 

5-      Sing and Dance. Put some of your favorite tunes and get moving! This is a fun way to have a good time and burn some calories while you’re at it. 

 

 

Even though the quarantine is a scary, difficult time, all of us can find something good within the bad! It is important to not only have concern for your physical health but also your mental health.
